Our Biobased Cutlery is an environment-friendly green product which is an excellent and a more sustainable choice for our earth. By using the biobased cutlery, you will help reduce the consumption of non-renewable fossil fuels that are required to make conventional plastic cutlery. This will improve the CO2 green house effect by leaving a better carbon footprint.
Our Bio-based cutlery is constructed of the material which is certified by VINCOTTE as "OK Biobased" two stars classification, which follows the USA ASTM D6866 standard.
The raw material is made from a mix of 45% plant materials like corn, potatoes, and other vegetables and 55% fillers (like polypropylene) for strength and heat tolerance. The plant materials are renewable, meaning they can be grown again and again.
